Great vacation at Shaunie's!! Cabins were very clean and well furnished. Prices are so reasonable. Shaun, the owner, was so nice and helpful. If we had any questions or issues, he took care of them. We caught lots of largemouth bass, big bluegill, and northern. Big Mckenzie is a great lake!! Great place to stay and we will definitely come back!! Mark Pancini

My Wife and I came across Shaunie's Resort at the Tinley Park Fishing Show, we wanted to find a place to enjoy are 14th wedding anniversary and my Birthday , Shaun was nice enough to go through and tell us all about his Resort and answered all are questions , we loved the place just by looking at his layout so we booked a Cabin called " PEEK A BOO " . we arrived to a welcoming friendly environment , tree's all around , are Cabin has a very large screened in Porch with a view of the Lake that is Magnificent , the inside of the Cabin is all cedar, very clean and inviting, everyone there including other guest staying there were all friendly and helpful , the Resort has 2 large Fire Pits that are going most nights to enjoy by All, WE LOVED ARE TIME AT THE RESORT and plan on many more vacations to SHAUNIE"S RESORT

The possibilities to enjoy lake Mackenzie from here are endless. The views from the swings are like no other. Absolutely the perfect place to make great memories with family and friends; could not ask for more!

Great time at Shaunies. We’ve been spending a week here in July for many years. Can’t beat it for lake front activities, walks boating, fishing, bonfires, Eagle watching. Great place to go with family. Something for everyone. Cabins are clean. Love this place!

I took my entire Family to Shaunies! What a great week of family fun and relaxation, from Grandma to the Grand Children we all had a great week. Shaun’s hospitality was awesome and so was the fishing and the amenities. If you’re looking for a great time Shaunies is it. Fishing, Eagles, and the serenity of the Northwoods it’s awesome.
